How do I get a Private referral to East Quay Health Ltd?

If you would like to be referred to East Quay Health, contact our administrator Karen Sherring on 01278 440409 or e-mail her at karen.sherring@eastquaymc.nhs.uk or ask your GP.

What happens when I am referred?

If you have been referred to East Quay Health you will receive an appointment by post. It is essential that you contact Karen Sherring on 01278 440409 to confirm your appointment, or click here to complete the acceptance form.

Your appointment letter will include pre and post-operative information to enable you to prepare for your procedure

What if I can't make the appointment?

If you wish to cancel or change your appointment, please call Karen Sherring on 01278 440409. Please give as much notice as possible so that we can allocate the appointment to another patient.

What do I need to bring?

Please do not bring valuables, as we cannot be responsible for their loss. Details of any special clothing required will be included with your appointment letter.

What do I do when I arrive?

Please report to reception on arrival. The receptionist will direct you to the waiting room. You will be collected when it is time for your procedure.

What happens immediately after the procedure?

You may be advised to wait in the recovery room for 10-15 minutes but most patients are free to leave immediately afterwards. For some procedures you should not attempt to return home by bicycle, foot or public transport.
